By integrating the elements of fire and water at its nucleus, kambô embodies a sacred balance that provides healing energies of purification and therapeutic matter.
KAMBÔ
Kambô is the potent secretion derived from the giant tree frog Phyllomedusa bicolor, which thrives in the treetops of the upper Amazon region.
Traditions of working with the spirit and medicine of kambô date back thousands of years.
The secretion contains several bioactive peptides, which are a powerful tool for promoting health and wellness, and have a wide range of positive effects.
Kambô can be used to treat autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, cancer, hormone imbalances, anxiety, depression, and addiction.
On an additional note, kambô has demonstrated high efficacy against drug-resistant strains of bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and viruses, which makes it a promising therapy for treating a broad spectrum of infectious diseases such as Lyme disease and human papillomaviruses.

In spiritual terms, kambô works as a light that opens the path – assisting us in overcoming obstacles and releasing emotional blockages. It restores our energy field and realigns the chakras, enabling us to drop destructive habits and be more in touch with our essence.
A kambô treatment may be intense, yet not that long-lasting. One often sits with the medicine for approximately 20-40 minutes during a session. A combination of experiences that may arise during a kambô treatment includes physical and emotional discomfort as an effect of the many active peptides. But for some, feelings of empowerment and elation are presently waved into the sensation.
Before the medicine is applied, gates are created by burning away the very top layer of skin. Kambô will then be applied as tiny points upon the gates. The number of points and placement varies from person to person, regulated by individual needs and conditions. After kambô is applied to the gates it is absorbed into the lymphatic system and reaches the body’s various receptors via the circulation system.
After a kambô treatment, you might feel very energised, or completely exhausted.
The day after a kambô treatment is when you generally start to feel the real benefits of kambô. You may feel clean, clear-sighted, more alert, and experience more energy. For some, the after-effects are more subtle.

A kambô session takes about three hours in total and consists of an initial consultation and informative guidance, followed by grounding preparation of your body, mind, and spirit before the process of applying the kambô and sitting with the medicine takes place.
After the treatment, there will be some time for rest and recovery.
If you intend on working with a specific illness or condition, we can assist you in creating a customised treatment plan, to give the medicine and your being the right opportunities to process and heal.
When creating a kambô treatment plan, we often weave different holistic approaches and modalities together, such as nutrition, movement, breath, and sacred plant medicines.
In case you are traveling a little further, or just want to treat yourself to the spaciousness of time, it is possible to arrive the day before your treatment.
This arrangement invites you to enjoy the nature and atmosphere of our surroundings before we, in the evening, share a nutritious dinner. For this layout – made beds, towels, tea, and food are included.
With a delicate weaving of precision and firmness, the medicine of kambô encourages us to dissolve shields of obstruction and calls forth resilience, flexibility, and perseverance.
